How a Safety Studio works
A group of twenty or so girls, led by one of their own, meets every week to look at the risks in their lives and design their own ways through them.
Observe
Girls notice the risks around them and log them in a monthly Risk Calendar.
Understand
Together they talk through why a risk shows up and who it affects.
Design
They plan their own strategies, from travelling in groups to talking with families.
Act
They put plans into action and bring in schools, police and community leaders.
